The 1998 Warwick University Real Ale Festival

This part of the site is still under construction, so in the meantime, here are some pictures to give you a feel for it:

Crowds (we had an attendance of 2000)

More Crowds (but no rowdiness, despite 7000 pints of beer and cider being drunk)

Even More Crowds (the yellow and black shirts are the servers')

Retapping a Cask (sealing the top of the cask stops all the beer pouring out when you pull the tap out of the front, but you still have to be quick)

Half the Ales (each cask holds 72 pints)

Some of the Ciders (contrary to popular belief, farmhouse cider is not made of rotten eggs and apple juice. It is made of rotten eggs and petrol)
