Yoghurt
Yoghurt is great: to make it easily, buy live yoghurt
from the supermarket. Add it to loads of milk, and place somewhere warm
for a few days. When it is thick enough, add nice things to it, or eat
it unadulterated. I like things like jam, peanut butter and mustard in
yoghurt. Yoghurt is good for body builders, apparently.
Sometimes the yoghurt you buy is set yoghurt, which is something you
should watch out for. Set yoghurt means that it is so old it is
starting to petrify, and as part of this process it is losing its
natural somewhat runny nature. Set yoghurt is also distinguishable by
its slighly bitter after-taste. It should be avoided if possible, as it
is grim. It is also more expensive, and probably has gelatine in it.
I like to make my own yoghurt, using the method outlined above, but
alternatively, you can buy it already flavoured and very expensive, with
brand names like Ski, Muller and
Munch-Bunch.
