UM
UM stands for Unit of Measure, and means simply the quantity
of each physical part that makes up 1 part on the system.
CTLR
This is this controller number which controls the part displayed. To find
out who the controller is in real life, use REVIEWCTLR
.
On Hand
This is the total quantity of the particular part which we have on hand, i.e.
which we have on site, at Cyril or in one of our remote warehouses. This
value includes both Available and Unavailable quantities.
Qty In Insp
This value refers to the quantity of the displayed parts which are in
Inspection at the time, for whatever reason.
Qty Allocated
This refers to the numer of parts which have already been allocated to
a particular purpose, e.g. parts which are destined to be shipped to another
division on an IO.
Qty Unreleased
This is not used very often practically, but it relates to the number of
parts which are soon to be shipped on an IOTRAX order, but which haven't
been actually pulled from the unavailable locations yet.
AV
AV stands for Available - in this case, available to the manufacturing line.
This means that the parts are immediately available to the line,
i.e. they are actually on the line's storage racking or in the process of
being built or in fact already built but just not backflushed yet. Parts
which are "available" should be considered not there, because there is
never any guarantee that they haven't been used yet.
UA
UA means Unavailable. These are parts which are not on the line, e.g.
those stored at CYRIL, in Inspection or in one of the warehouses. These
are parts which can be used by the line at a later date, dependent on when
they are needed.
