Raising an order

To raise an order you must first decide if the order you wish to raise is a standard order for inventory parts or if it is a special order for parts which are either not set up on the system or for which there is not POPLAN demand. If there is not demand showing on POPLAN for a part you must use a special order with extra authorisation to purchase the parts.

The first type of order is known as a Purchase Order, or PO. The second is known as a Requisition Order, or req order for short. Click on the releavant order for instructions.
