Finding Out a Part's Exact Usage on the Lines

Sometimes it may be necessary to find out exactly how many of any particular part are going to be used on the manufacturing lines and on which day they are to be used. This information is available on the system, although Line Managers may change it to suit their needs.

Within Promis there is a menu called "Gross Requirements Review" which is accessible from the main menu by typing 10 then 10 and then 4.

Type in the part number required and Promis will display all the build scheduled (denoted by an "M" at the end of the work order number) and all the flex (denoted by an "F" at the end of the work order number) from the earliest date to the latest. It also displays any outgoing IO's, and includes build scheduled for the past, which implies that it was never built and is therefore late build.
